Stricken with grieve at hearing news that his friend was seriously ill in Paris and believing the only way she would be healed was for him to walk from Munich to Paris in the winter of 1974, film director Werner Herzog set out for Paris noting what he came into contact with, whether physical, emotional or spiritually, during the process he endured on his way to his close friend. Did he really walk all that way or was it formed only in his mind!? We didn’t really set out the solve that!

 

A group project the book was divided amongst each member, who lived the journey they were responsible for, in order that they could set about typographically representing this interesting journey. The whole project was under the able direction of Images Now’s Aiden Grennelle who helped us along our endeavours.

 

Beautifully printed and bound along with it’s slip case, in very limited numbers, this book and project was a highlight of the final year in college.
